CFL partners with Universal Music Canada.

In a deal announced last Tuesday, The Canadian Football League has partnered with Universal Music Canada to launch the “Thursday Night Concert Series” aimed at bringing live music to football fans across the country. The CFL season will kick off in Winnipeg with a game between the Eskimo’s and the Blue Bombers and will include a live performance from Canadian Country duo, The Reklaws. Eight more pre-game concerts will follow spanning across Canada showcasing various to Universal signings and will add another live entertainment element to Thursday Night Football. This partnership marks another big sponsorship push for the major label and its artists. The deal provides a platform to expose their roster to a potential new audience while extending the CFL’s offering on-site at each of its team’s stadiums. Universal continues to flex their sponsorship muscles and show Canadians why they are the label to watch.

SoulCycle launches All Souls Welcome campaign for Pride Month.

The “All Souls Welcome” Campaign centers around six Soulcycle instructors who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community.  After a community voting process in April, each of the instructors were brought in to describe their “soul” and have become the leading figures of the campaign.  Each story celebrates the openness and lack of entry barriers that the brand promotes throughout each of its locations.

The company has offered 10-class packs named the “Pride Pack” with a portion of their proceeds being donated to the Trevor Project.  In addition to this charitable effort, the brand is also offering limited-edition merchandise with a Pride theme and has developed murals in New York to bring their campaign to life.
