Denny’s Mobile Relief Diner
With the recent wide-spread damage of Hurricane Florence and California Wildfires, Denny’s has invested in the Mobile Relief Diner. This is the second iteration of the activation that has occurred. The trailer itself has been travelling around the California coast and Carolinas and has utilized the power of social media to report on its location. The campaign center’s around bringing together those that have been displaced by these disasters to a common gathering place, the dinner table. By demonstrating their “love to feed,” Denny’s has been providing free breakfast for those that have come to their serving locations. It’s a strong message and sign of support by the brand in a period of disparity that demonstrates the positivity a brand can deliver when public institutions may be overwhelmed in times of crisis.
